Langley and Co is proud to acknowledge its key role in advising the owners of Gemtree Wines on the recent sale of the Gemtree brand, inventory and tasting room property to the Randall Wine Group. The property includes an organic vineyard and the renowned Gemtree Wetland and Eco Trail.

The acquisition represents a vote-of-confidence in the McLaren Vale region, and recognition that brands with integrity and a distinct point of difference always have a place, no matter how tough the trading conditions. The property gives the Randall Wine Group a substantial foothold in Australia’s growing organics market and a platform to grow the Gemtree brand internationally.

This transaction follows the sale of the winery site to Oliver & Press Winemakers in June, another great example of a business prepared to back the region and the future for premium wine production.
