Celebrating excellence at the 50th Barossa Wine Show
Langley & Co is proud to sponsor the Best Single Vineyard Wine Trophy at the milestone 50th Barossa Wine Show, celebrating the unique relationship between vineyard site, viticulture and winemaking that defines truly exceptional wines.
Congratulations to Treasury Wine Estates and the Leo Buring team, whose 2022 Leo Buring Leonay Mature Release Riesling was awarded the Best Single Vineyard Wine Trophy. The wine also claimed Best 2025 & Older Riesling and Best White Wine, making it one of the standout performers of this year’s show.
With a winemaking heritage dating back almost a century and deep ties to the Barossa through its celebrated Eden Valley Rieslings, Leo Buring remains one of Australia’s most recognised and enduring wine brands. Today, the brand forms part of the Treasury Wine Estates portfolio.
A special congratulations also to viticulturist George Taylor, recognised for the vineyard excellence behind this remarkable achievement.
It’s fitting that such a distinguished wine was recognised in the 50th anniversary year of the Barossa Wine Show, a showcase of the people, vineyards and wines that continue to shape the reputation of the Barossa on the world stage.
