Kies Family Wines acquires Ahrens Vineyard from Schild Estate

The Kies Family Wines in the Barossa Valley has recently acquired the Ahrens Vineyard from Schild Estate.

Toby Langley said, “the Barossa Valley continues to attract strong demand from international investors and established grape growers and winemakers. The sale of the Ahrens vineyards to Kies Estate was a logical extension of Kies’ existing operations providing further economies of scale to fulfil the strong ongoing demand for shiraz and cabernet sauvignon from the region.”
